3D graphics:User interactive and modified.
3D computer graphics are based upon many of the same algorithms which are used in 2D computer vector graphics and 2D computer raster graphics. In computer graphics the distinction between 2D and 3D is not visualized with clearity. 2D applications may use 3D techniques to achieve effects such as lighting. 3D computer graphics are also called to as 3D models. 3D computer graphics are graphics which use a three-dimensional representation of geometric data that is stored in the computer.
It is used for the purposes of performing calculations and rendering 2D images. A three dimensional (3D) model is the mathematical representation of an object which is three-dimensional. A model can be displayed as a two-dimensional image through a process called 3D rendering.
The Benefit of using 3d graphics can vary from the sources of production to customers also which are as following:
Improved accuracy and reduced errors: In case of 3D graphics the accuracy and the efficiency is very high. There is less number of errors.
3D graphics can graphically simplify complicated concepts. They convey complex inter-relationships which are difficult to visualize. Those Concepts and ideas which cannot easily be represented in words or through examples can be easily created and viewed from different angles easily and effectively.
Animation combines large amount of scientific data that is used into comparatively simplified and smaller packages which can then be presented with a simpler way that is easy to understand.
Animation are more interactive and captures attention of the viewer’s easily and the information which is presented as a moving image is very easy to remember and is retained by the viewer for a longer time and with greater accuracy.
Animation can re-create an event which practically if we want to create will be too expensive or too dangerous to reproduce. E.g. The scene of an aircraft accident. Scenes which have been changed or which no longer exist. E.g. buildings or colonies which are destroyed can be constructed can be easily re-created through animation.
Virtual light sources taken from different anglesare used with transparencies, reflections and shadows to optimize the photo-realistic effects.
